What is 'Stories from the Past'?
'Stories from the Past' is a brand new website aiming to provide short, visual stories for your whiteboard. It is the only website where you can find a full range of historical stories for children.

What lessons do the stories cover?
The stories are ideal for both history and literacy lessons, particularly the strand 'Stories with Historical Settings'.The stories give the children an exciting way of learning about something new within their topic.

How long are the stories?
Each story can be read in about 10-15 minutes, making them perfect for the timing of your lessons.

How accurate are the stories?
All the exciting, character-led stories include historical detail that is usually only found in non-fiction material. Each slideshow also has a 'Did You Know?' section, that helps to explain some of the detail used in the stories.

Will my class like them?
The stories are ideal for Key Stage 2 children, and offer a lively and interesting insight into our history. Each page also has super, purpose drawn illustrations that appeal to children.

What software do I need?
All the stories will be available on PowerPoint , and Word files. You choose your preferred platform. This means they are ideal for sharing with the whole class using the interactive whiteboard, or to give out as a text.All stories are copyrighted, and can only be shared within the purchasing school.

Do I need a site licence?
Good news - No. One single price covers all the computers in your school. This offers great value when compared to other educational software.
